Make Your Own Pet Portrait

Artists will learn how to compose, transfer and color the drawings with watercolor, ink and pencil. Artists will have many options to stay true to the original or expand into design thinking. Learn how to make eyes shine, whiskers look subtle and fur look fluffy. Don’t have a pet? Bring a photo of your dream pet or choose from my photo collection.

Pet Portraits have been a life long pursuit. There are many ways to create portraits that give the spirit of each animal. My pet portrait commissions really expanded while I painted for the Georgia English Bulldog Rescue. Each year they have auctions and feature new pets in their care. I painted many of the famous bulldogs, learning how to feature their best qualities and raised a lot of kibble for their rescue. Pet Portraits are still my favorite subjects to draw and paint. Can't wait to see your furry, feathered and scaled pets! To register or get more information, please email elizmcclellan@gmail.com.

$100 for 4 classes, all materials provided.
