Often using live models as inspiration, Brooke McGowen’s new 18+ class focuses on movement, rhythm, gesture, and self-expression through figure drawing. Bring your favorite drawing materials and explore a more loose, expressive approach to the human form.
$20 per class
Children’s Summer Art Classes at the Shasta County Arts Council offer hands-on creative experiences for ages 5–14 throughout June, July, and August. Led by instructor Susan Emerson, classes explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and imaginative themed projects in a fun and encouraging environment. Sessions are held at Old City Hall in Downtown Redding with both 4-day sessions and drop-in options available.
